Your suspension system isn't only your shocks and springs. Other critical items include rod ends, ball joints, steering linkages, and brackets. If these items are loose, worn, or not aligned, you could be setting yourself up for a bad day at the track. Of course, you'll want to do checks throughout the season, but now is a perfect time as you get your car ready for those first races. Inspect and clean ball joints and rod ends. Correct alignment angles. Most of these parts are relatively inexpensive and checking and/or replacing them now will save you time and money when racing season is in full swing while also putting you a step ahead of the competition.
