Optimum cooling! Edelbrock Victor Series water pumps provide maximum cooling for the race track. Using state-of-the-art racing technology, Edelbrock has designed these "super cooling" water pumps to provide maximum flow, maximum pressure, and equal distribution to both sides of the block within 1%. These High Performance pumps flow in only one direction for optimum efficiency. The casting's computer-designed internal passages and precision powdered metal impeller produce the maximum flow rate possible.
The 8817 pump fits S/B Chevy engines. It comes with heavy-duty 3/4" ball/roller bearing and a 1.85" inlet diameter. It measures 5-13/16" from block surface to hub and comes with a 3/4" pilot shaft.
The EDE-8817 also features 3/8" NPT auxiliary fittings at 45° to the block.
This pump fits perfectly with our Jones Racing Products Serpentine Water Pump Pulley, # JRP-1035-S-CE. No additional brackets needed.
